Coding in exchange of book! That’s what I am talking ‘bout. If you are an individual or a small organization having some really small project to be done by some freelancer, then consider this….
“I will do the coding job for you for free and expect you to gift me a book (and ship it too) as an appreciation of my work, if you really like it. ”
Isn’t a yummy deal guys!
I love opensource and code a lot for them, but what these opensource packages are not enough for end users. They always look for some to write the small code pieces for their applications. “Code for Book” is an attempt to bridge this gap. In returns I expect a gift from my client at end of the project. If you wonder why this gift is required? Because most of this projects are personal requirement and there are fair chances that these projects will not going to help the mass.
Why do I prefer book as gift? The concept is similar like the donation received by the opensorce project…. “Spend that resource to improve of the product and service”. As I will the lone developer in most of these projects, donating a book can help me to write better code for my clients. The book will be considered as a gift from my client and it will be optional for the client like any other donation scheme.
So Let the Game begin….
Adios
